HMCS Burlington (Lt.Cdr. W.J. Fricker, RCN) scuttles the wreck of the Dutch tanker Ocana with gunfire south-east of Nova Scotia in position 42°23'30N, 64°42'W. The tanker had been torpedoed by the German U-boat U-552 in position 42°36'N, 64°30'W on 25 March.
