Born on 25th June 1913 at the home of his parents, 3 Egerton Road, Stoke-upon-Trent, to Frederick Charles Townsend Gill, a County Court Clerk, and Jennie Ethel Gill nee Swann. Norman Frederick René Gill married Dorothy Eileen Snow on 14th September 1946 at Trentham Parish Church. Dorothy was a spinster living in Trentham, the daughter of Percy Snow deceased. They had three children, Peter, Valian and Caroline.Founded Gill Insulation Co. Ltd. and was Captain and President of the Trentham Golf Club
On 6th August 1984 at his home, Redmarley, 73 Barlaston Old Road, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, Norman Frederick Rene Gill, a Company Director (retired), died.
