Personal information
Son of Daniel and Ann Williams, of Garston, Liverpool. One of 13 children and the only member of the family killed in action. His brothers Daniel and Peter both served in the Army, his brother Harry was a sailor in the Merchant Navy and his sister Joan served as mechanic in the Army.
