Notes on event

Between 00.48 and 01.09 hours on 20 July 1942 U-66 laid six TMB mines at the entrance to the harbor of Port Castries, St. Lucia. On 29 July a US Coast Guard patrol boat was damaged by a mine detonation and on 2 August HMS MTB-339 and HMS MTB-342 were also slightly damaged by a nearby mine detonation.
