History

Laid down date unknown. Commissioned as a tanker on 11 April 1935.

Decommissioned as MAC ship on 30 May 1945 and rebuilt to original specifications by the Dutch shipyard Wilton-Fyenoord, Schiedam. On 29 March 1946, she left for the first commercial trip in ballast for CuraƧao, Dutch Antilles.

Gadila arrived at Hong Kong on 6 June 1958 to be scrapped.
