HMS H 49 (Lt. M.A. Langley, RN) shifted from Lowestoft to Harwich. She was escorted by HMS Cordela (T/Skr. A. Hales, RNR). (1)

8 Dec 1942
HMS Taku (Lt. A.J.W. Pitt, RN) conducted engine trials and exercises off Beirut. The exercises included a practice attack on HMS Cordela (T/Skr. J. Enevoldsen, RNR) and A/S exercises with three motor launches. (2)
