Hello Anders,
Good to talk to you.I am very grateful for the time you both are spending on the U-1020 mystery.As stated on my original request for information, an intact wreck has been found but we need as much info as possible to ascertain whether this is the boat we think it is or if the remains are of another miissing in action.By the way on this wreck the hatch to the conning tower is open but the hatch to the control room is shut .The schnorkel lies on the seabed to port and one of the anti aircraft mounts lies on the bottom to starboard.
