I've gotten some info on the relative sound levels of some subs:

WW2 sub 'cavitating' 180-190 Db

WW2 sub 'non cavitating' 160-170 Db

WW2 sub in 'silent running' 130-140 Db

Modern diesel-electric sub 100-120 Db

USS 'Ohio' class SSBN approx 80 Db
