Angular accuracy

Sniper, do you know what the angular accuracy/resolution of the "Prinz Eugen" sonar was? Also how many sensors did it have?

The Balkon GHG had 48 sensors, a diameter of around 160 cm and an angular resolution of ±1.5º. Since resolution is proportional to diameter, I would expect the "Prinz Eugen" sonar to have a resolution of around ±0.25º.

Another question. The Allies captured several U-boats and the early GHG technology. Did they not develop their own array sonar from that already before the war was over?
