Mystery Polish Destroyer....

Dear Friends,
I am doing some research on behalf of some diver friends.I am desperate to find out the name of the Polish destroyer involved in the action sometime in January 1945 with the destroyer HMS ONSLAUGHT against U-1020 off Scotland/Orkney.One book even mentions picking up survivors from the U-boat, but on berthing in port the Polish vessel never landed any prisoners.The mystery is about to be solved but this is almost impossible without more information on the Polish vessel.As the saying goes "the truth is out there"....but only with your help.
