GLOBE VI was not in Norwegian service when she was sunk. She was requested 23.3.1941 and manned by Royal Norwegian Navy 17.5.1941 at Trinidad. She went to Cape Town for fitting out, but since shipyards was busy she continued to India, arriving Karachi 14.9.1941. Renamed MAALOY 21.5.1942. Handed over to Royal Navy 12.6.1942. I have photos of her as GLOBE VI.
