Presumably any intercepts about escaping high-ranking Nazis would survive in the Bletchley archives ?

It would certainly seem reasonable that there should have been some attempts to use submarines for getting out of the country - I don`t suppose there were any other safer options open to them by then; but are there in fact any confirmed cases of escapees being found on board Uboats ?

As regards putting pressure on Birkenhead re. doing more to U354, presumably an official UK U-boat Club (whatever it were to be called) would be in a much better position than a number of isolated individuals...........
