<HTML>Hi Takeo!
Thanks for that excellent information. I am also an aviation addict as well but I had no idea that my fellow countryman, Anthony Fokker, invented the synchronized propeller machine gun! Very neat. Thanks again.
Now my two cents on Enigma. First of all, thanks to SuperKraut for that excellent info, I had no idea that Fellgible was part of the \"Zwartze Kapelle\" (spelling?). This may very well have played a big role in the discovery of the Enigma codes. Second, I think you guys left one very important thing out: The computer used at Bletchley park. In my opinion, this enabled the British/Allies to stay ahead of the game. Old decoded transmissions were usually of no help, except for the overall plans of the Germans (which of course was still very useful). So this computer made the work faster and enable the allies to know about events before they happened. I think without the computer, many intercepts and defenses would not have occurred (battle wise).
Thanks all for those very insightful posts!
Best regards,
Fin Bonset
P.S. SuperKraut! My country is not \"cute\'!!!! It\'s a strong country with an excellent economy. Don\'t forget that the Dutch own Shell, The Beers (Diamonds), and mnumerous other large world corporations. </HTML>
