Information on how to make a donation for the preservation of U-505 can be found on the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry web site at [www.msichicago.org].

U-505 is far too valuable to be allowed to deteriorate this way. I certainly hope she can be saved. According to their web site 20 million visitors have seen U-505 over the years.

In not too many years there won&#8217;t be anybody left alive that served in WWII. Sadly we can&#8217;t do anything about that but this boat can and should be saved.
