<HTML>No one continues to reward till now. Maybe only in the Former Soviet Union as I read that some Russians received awards from WW II. But as for rewarding the German veterans with the Knights Cross? NO. Not at all, as they are considered criminal.

You must be thinking of the Russian Heroes.</HTML>
