I think that is a question of dialectic.

Lemp had already finished his KTB and he was ordered to change it.

I think that after that, commanders filled in by typewriter only the pages without problems, the others were filled in with pencil.

Then back in the flottilla it was decided what to transcript.

So when events were not noted this was not a fake but an omission. That\'s why Dönitz didn\'t ly.

I know other omissions in KTB\'s. So U-37 never noted the sunk of the Vichy-french ship Rhône and the sub Sfax on December 19, 1940.

The difference between gotic and modern typeface headings is normal.

Normally the first and the last page of a KTB is one page Din A 3 foldet in two and with gotic headings. In this folder were added normal pages.</HTML>
