<HTML>Hi Jeroen and all XIb fans,
I am pretty certain, that all, who spent a little time researching the subject, agree none of the XIb ever made it down the slipway in Bremen.
So, what was found at CA35?? My money is on the only French boat completed during the German occupation there. I believe the French name assigned was La Martinique. She was last seen by one eyewitness late in '44 in Gdynia (Gotenhafen) with a "yardcrew" aboard. She left overnite. Lenton misidentified her as La Africaine and claims she was scuttled there in '44. I do not think so! Rgds, RB</HTML>
