Youre quite correct the BARON ELGIN was shown mercy by an unknown
U-Boat while picking up survivors .This incident is mentioned in Bernard Edwards
book\"Donitz And The Wolfpacks\".I will endeavour to find out which boat was involved,it might take some time,but I will find out.
