The sovjet navy didn\'t play a large role during the second world war, but the submarines managed to do some damage on occasion, especially when the Germans were evacuating their troops and civilians from Prussia by sea. Ships sunk by Sovjet submarines were for example the Wilhelm Gustloff and Cap Arkona. More about the Wilhelm Gustloff here:
