Yes, in the end i think i agree with you. I don\'t know why i saw a resemblence between a foxtrot and the K class. Do you know if the russians engineers received any \"training\" from german boat builders or if any german designers defected to Russia after the war. I recall asking this to someone and they answered in the affirmative.
But I am truly amazed by the looks of the Oscar class subs of today. It is a sight to behold!!
I read somewhere that the damn thing can stay submerged on the ocean floor for a whole bloody YEAR!!!!! THat is something. I think the russians learnt a lot of long term survival techniques in the their soyuz capsules in outer space and have applied them very successfully to a submarine\' duration of being submerged deep under the ocean. Its a pity they are in dire financial situation
