<HTML>Hi Kris
WWII SOVIET SUBMARINE BUILDING YARDS
ADMIRALTY (SHIPYARD NO.194) Leningrad
BALTIC (SHIPYARD NO.189) Leningrad
BLACK SEA (SHIPYARD NO.444) Nikolayev
DALZAVOD (VLADIVOSTOK) (SHIPYARD NO.202) Vladivostok
KRASNOYE SORMOVO (SHIPYARD NO.112) Gor´kiy
SEVERODVINSK (SHIPYARD NO.402) Delta of Northern Dvina river, 48 Km from
Arkhangel´sk
KOMUNA (SHIPYARD NO.445) Nikolayev
SUDOMEKH (SHIPYARD NO.196) Leningrad
URAL MACHINE WORKS Sverdlovsk
ZHDANOV (SHIPYARD NO.190) Leningrad
The only connection WWII German and Soviet submarine connection I know
is the \"S\" class submarines:
\"The design was a product of the Dutch-German firm IvS and was based on the
German Type IA (*).The final design submitted to the Soviets was designated E-II
(Project 224 II).\"
You say the K class resembles Kilo class. Are you sure?
The Kilo is a modern teardrop hull shaped submarine with a sqaure conning tower.
Look and compare

Best regards
P.S.
(*)The German Type IA design derived from the submarine \"E-1\", a German
design. This submarine was laid down in 1930 at astilleros Echevarrieta y Larrinaga (in Cádiz Spain, the city where I live), and sold to the Turkish Navy and renamed \"Gür\".This shipyard still works today as a commercial reparation drydock.
