Yes, very interesting! Does it mean there are lists of ships, as they were assigned to individual convoys? I would like to know more about it too.
As for the Thorsholm, I have been thinking about it, because of the same reason Jan-Olof mentioned here. After a disscussion with Mrs. Lawson, I suppose the Thorsholm was a member of a Mediterranean going or leaving convoy. I have no proof for that, it\'s only my own hypothesis based on the following facts. On the same day (Febr 22, 1943) another two vessels, the destroyer HMS Wivern and the corvette HMCS Weyburn, were damaged by mines laid by U-118 in this area. So I supposed a convoy was going through Gibraltar that time. I learned, after the disscussion with Mrs. Lawson, that the convoy MKS-8 went into this minefield on that day. Was the Thorsholm in this convoy? It seems to make sense, but maybe I have missed something. Is there anybody able to confirm it or to make it clear?
