<HTML>It seems that all three ships (Norwegian tanker Thorsholm, corvette HMCS Weyburn and destroyer HMS Wivern) were in the convoy MKS 8.
First the Thorsholm hit a mine and Weyburn tried to assist the damaged vessel but hit herself a mine and sank. Wivern rescued the crew (only 9 men died aboard the Canadian corvette) but was damaged by the exploding depth charges from the sinking Weyburn.
But could someone proof this theory? And from which source is the information, that Wivern was damaged by depth charges from Weyburn?
