Hi, VEK,
thanks for all the links to the death of Buchheim. The old word "de mortui nihil nisi bene" is hard to respect concerning this man, who didn't respect it either.
I just want to add to those articles you linked that Buchheim was not a real member of the KM, as he loved to camouflage his war carreer, he just was a member of Goebbels' "Propaganda Kompanies"; and he was not a real Lt.z.S., he just was a "Leutnant zur See (Sonderführer)" thaT# something quite different.
And calling him a "Poltergeist" is for me an Euphemismus...
Not tears for this guy, but best regards to you
