Hi Rainer
Thanks a lot for your help
That my conclusions about U-123 attacks on 18/19 October 1940
At 20.21 hours on 18 Oct, 1940, the Shekatika was hit amidships by one torpedo from U-123 about 90 miles east-southeast of Rockall and seven minutes later by a coup de grâce under the bridge, but both hits did not have much effect. When the U-boat surfaced at 20.30 hours, U-99 made the same about 300 meters away and Kretschmer was a bit angry because he had chased the same ship but planned his attack a few minutes too late. After the crew had abandoned ship on rafts, U-123 fired a second coup de grâce into the vessel at 20.46 hours and then left the slowly sinking ship. Claimed as Freighter type Tuscan Star of 11400 GRT
At 23.37 hours on 18 Oct, 1940, the Boekelo was damaged by U-100 in 56.40N, 10.45W (grid AM 2916) and was torpedoed and sunk by U-123 at 01.31 hours on 19 Oct, 1940. Claimed as Freighter of 7000 GRT with passenger accommodations.
At 01.55 hours on 19 Oct, 1940, the Sedgepool (Master Robert Bell Witten) in convoy SC-7 was hit by one torpedo from U-123 and sank in five minutes about 80 miles west by south from St. Kilda. The ship had been missed by a first torpedo at 01.35 hours. Claimed as Steamer of about 4000 GRT, pure freighter (mis)identified later as the Clintonia and was corrected to 3106 GRT (At 03.58 hours on 19 Oct, 1940, the Clintonia in convoy SC-7 was hit by one torpedo from U-99 200 miles west of St.Kilda. The vessel remained afloat and was sunk by gunfire from U-123 at 05.04 hours).
U-123 found Shekatika again at 02.44 hours on 19 October. At 03.17 hours, a fifth torpedo hit the ship amidships, starting a fire in the engine room. The vessel developed a list and the deck cargo of pit props fell overboard before she sank. Steamer of about 5500 GRT

Lio
PS : With bold the tonnage that U-123 claimed
