Derek,
29 May – 05 June
Pier A, The Battery, New York
07 June – 13 June
Boston
June
Philadelphia
03 August – 02 September
Pier 88 New York
Baltimore
New Haven
14 Sept – 17 Sept
Portland
20 Sept – 23 Sept
WH Gas & Electric Co. Wharf, Portsmouth (U-2513 arrived Portsmouth Navy yard
on 06 Sept for evaluations)
09 Oct –
Santee basin, Naval Academy. Arrived to participate in centennial celebrations.
Arrived from Naval submarine base, New London Conn.
16 Oct -
Charlston
Savannah
Jackonsville
12 Nov – 15 Nov
Port Arthur – U-530
The ports with names may not be in chronological order. It would appear that U-505 was on an Atlantic coast only tour. U-530 arriving from South America started a tour of the Gulf coast, I only found one date for Port Arthur but its also likely it went onto the bigger ports further west.
Regards,
Mark
