<HTML>If (!) the supply sub was in fact one of the purpose-built variants, then that would have been a very surprising response from the captain of the supply sub.

However, we could just as easily assume that the \'supply sub\' was a Type IXD (or some such variant)

...it is, after all, a just movie.
