Movies and Films
This is the forum for Movie and Film discussions. Again, our topic is naval warfare in WWII for the most part.

<HTML>Gentlemen,
This is a "what if" casting call, right? As in, "What if we had been able to cast the movie ourselves, long ago"? Because otherwise, all of these men--at least the ones I know of--are way too old. I adore Max von Sydow, but he would be WAY too old to play the 30-year-old Captain! (Prochnow was 40 which fit well with Buchheim's description of der Alte as looking "ten years older".)
Personally, I'd love to play Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing," (she's the smart-mouthed one) but alas, I am too old.
Regards,
Meg</HTML>
