<HTML>Also, in real life Buchheim wasn't the ignorant, blundering greenhorn that "Leutnant Werner" is, nor, I believe, were any of the others Kriegsmarine photographers. Buchheim and the others left quite a poignant record for posterity. My husband was looking at a group picture in U-Boot Krieg and said "My God, they look like a bunch of Boy Scouts!"
