Yikes, you're brave. And also right.
This is a pop culture survey from a narrow demographic. Some of the reviews look like they were written by George Galloway. Of particular offense was #55 Casualties of War - "But new recruit Michael J Fox is determined they shouldn't get away with murder - unlike the rest of the American soldiers in Vietnam".
They also left out one of Gregory Peck's finest performances (and one of my all time favorite movies) - '12 O'clock High', but included his 'Guns of Navaronne'.
And to call Das Boot a "soap"? Maybe something got lost in the translation.
The only comfort we can take from this is that U-571 didn't make the top 100:-)
