A very good series regarding the Lorient base and the specific U-boats involved, by Luc Braeuer. Volumes 1 thru 3 (Vol. 3 just recently released) of a 4 volume set have been published. Well worth the price.

jliller, The British facility (as you might know) was the Command Plotting Room in the Headquarters Of The Western Approaches (WAC) located at Derby House, Liverpool.
