Just a little trivia type side note. Blueback is arguably the most visible boat of her class, popping up (literally), among other places, in the opening credits of JAG every week (in an outtake from Hunt for Red October). She seems to have had something of a second career as a stand-in for nuclear boats in movies. Besides playing the "Dallas" in HfRO, I've been told she also played the pursuing 688 in Down Periscope.
