A couple of things to compare between I Class, V&W Class and Richards two photos.......
Early unconverted V&W Class (and many of the later conversions) have two stacks which are significantly different in height and diameter. The aft funnel usually being much lower and greater in diameter, but this can be the other way round. The I Class has stacks which are usually approx the same height and diameter. Richards photograph quite clearly shows the V&W configuration.
The bridge top facing on the I Class slopes down to front, a legacy of its H Class origins, whereas the V&W class bridge is flat fronted.
Also, looking at those photographs, and if the damage is supposed to represent recent action in the Mediterranean, then it is very odd that all of the ships are covered in snow and ice !!!
