USS DIrect AM-90 vs. Enemy submarine

Thanks, again, Brian. All the documentation I have has been "scrubbed" according to WWII security provisions. I'm afraid the only way I can get the exact location of this incident is by retreiving the log of AM-90 at Washington Navy Yard. I was thinking of doing that anyway. I have a Navy friend who lives in the area who may be able to help me.

Of particular interest to me is your analysis that the Direct's adversary in this event may have been Italian.

By the way, where are you writing from? I am in Defiance, Ohio USA.
