You seem to be referring to the 4 legenday U-cruisers Type XI(U112-115), projected in '38. Two of which were started at AG Weser, but scrapped on the slipways. The other two sisters were on paper only. Trident Research claims to have found one off the US East Coast, but sofar failed to come up with conclusive proof.
At any rate, this type was to have one cylindrical stowage compartment just fwd of the twr below deck with a circular hatch of 2m dia on deck. A derrick would lift the the baby Arado on deck for quick assembly of the wings and pontoons, then place it in the water for take-off. Good weather and a kind sea were prerequisites, thus not very practical unless you want to cruise on the Bodensee and reconnoiter the Swiss defences. Rgds, RB</HTML>
