one of my bokks state,that the arado 231 was not conceptual.the trials WERE carried out.so there must have been a sub involved.
they also state,that the whole thing was found to be unpractical to a degree,because in heavy seas and from wind strength 6 onwards the plane couldn`t betaken aboard again without dangerous collisions with the subs hull.

concerning the a4 rocket containers towed behind a sub- this project was very successful and saw no flaws.but the war ended before it reached the front line.

so anyone out there who can give me the sub no.?</HTML>
