<HTML>hi...this arado-thing was folded in a cylindrical tube.
somewhere i have a photo showing this tube open with the front hatch showing the planes prop and cockpit windows and the connectors to the backfolded wings. this tube (i scratch the bottom of my brain here) was to be placed on the deck of a sub.
i saw a similar construction for jap subs (carrying those tubes for planes) and for italian subs (carrying minsubs.).
so there must have been also a sub using this construction. could have been a vii c even,because of the simplicity of the whole thing.i also know that there have been trials with a sub.but which....hmmmmpf..</HTML>
