<HTML>btw. Raeder asked the Nuremberg court to be shoot dead instead of the captivity, but the court refused.
He wife was in soviet captivity first in Moscov than in the concentration camp of Sachsenhausen, reused by the soviets, until July 1949, for the only reason that she was Frau Raeder.</HTML>
