<HTML>Back in the old days when playing AOD when encoutering a convoy I usually fired at two or three ships in such a way that the torpedos would hit all the targets at the same time. That means firing at the ship furthest away first and then retarget at a closer ship. That way I did a lot of damage before alerting the destroyers.
