Sorry to disappoint you but yes they did!

One Scout helicopter was shot down by a Pucara on the 28th May near Goose Green.

Our losses - aircraft wise - were as follows:

Sea Harriers 6, 2 to ground fire and 4 in accidents.
Harriers - 4. 3 to ground fire 1 in an accident.
Helicopters - 23. 1 to aircraft, 3 to ground fire, 19 to \'accidents\' eg. aboard damaged or setroyed ships.

Argentine losses were:

117 aircraft lost, includes probables and destroyed on the ground..

27 Mirage / Daggers.
45 Skyhawks.
21 Pucaras.
3 MB 339\'s
3 Canberras.
1 C-130 Hercules.
1 Learjet.
4 T-34C\'s.
2 Skyvans.
2 Chinooks.
6 Pumas.
2 Bell UH-1\'s.

30 other aircraft captured.

Whilst it\'s sort of great to have a \'yeah we did it\' view of all this, the pilots of both the Argentine Navy and Air Force showed more courage and determination that the Army and Navy.

Hope this clears up the issue.
