<HTML>Oh No I dont think so.
Argentina invaded British Sovereign territory in the South Atlantic 8,000 miles away from the UK. They didnt think that Great Britian would do anything about it - neither did most of the rest of the world. Maggie Thatcher put the teeth back in the \'British Bulldog\' and away the troops went. Not full of \'Gung-Ho\' but with a grim determination to get there and get on with the job.
As was said at the time -- Maggie Thatcher was
\"the \'best\' bloke in the Tory party\"
She had the guts and determination to see it through to the end. A lot more guts and determination than many a politician on either side of the house.
I dread to think what would happen in 2001 if a similar thing happened again with the bunch of *&%$^@~ who are in politics now.
