One of the cruisers - sister to Belgrano - was replaced by the County Class Destroyer HMS Norfolk in March of 1982. Whether the other remains afloat is, alas, a mystery to me! My source for this info comes from Jane\\\'s Naval review 1982-83, by the way.
On another note, I am reading \\\'The Fourth Service\\\' Merchantmen at war in 1939-45 by John Slader - an excellent book and filled with much information of interest to the U boat historian / reader. I make reference to an incident in it inanother post.
If you are looking for somthing good to read, it\\\'s well reccomended!
