Hello Haken,
I've got no finger in the pie as far as this site is concerned, so I'm not defending myself. However, I'm sort of defending the people who offer me this mine of information. With a project as big as this (and, mind, run by part-timers who have all got 'regular' jobs apart from keeping his site going) I should be very surprised if there weren't, in fact, any errors at all.
Gudmundur, the chap who put up this site and has kept it running, will be the last to complainh about having factual errors pointed out to him, cf.
"If you still feel like writing me
If you have some comments on the pages (errors, praises or suggestions) then by all means write, I enjoy getting e-mail and I do respond as fast as I can. As of early 2000 I can no longer reply to all letters sent to me - I simply do not have the time. However, all mail is being read and acted upon (I've replied to over 1800 letters in first half of 2002). You can write to me at gummi@uboat.net."
(from the front page and then "Contact us", way down at the bottom).
I'm sure he'll appreciate help, especially when the person 'complaining' adds all the relevant sources - that's what makes scholarship or scientific approaches: you have a theory that exlpains things, and when other / new facts contradict this, you weigh them and, if necessary, re-consider your original hypothesis.
So my advice (unsolicited as it may be) is you contact Gudmundur under his address and I'm sure he'll sort out things in time.
Cheers, Johannes
