Please do not conflate dross cobbled together for casual entertainment with material fact gleaned from contemporary documentation.
I can only urge you to take careful note of what Ron has to say on this subject. I happen to know that Ron has studied this subject closer that any other living person (with the exception of Axel Niestle)
Mr Chatterton et al are notoriously unreliable to the extent that research carried out behalf of the History Channel has become something of a joke in academic circles
Having had my own involvement in their 'documentaries' (and I shudder at the memory) I can assure you that fact has but a small part to play in their output
