Very nice photograph. It is U 993 half-sunken in a dock at Bergen after the German capitulation. That is why the allied administration has written its number onto the starboard side of its conning tower. In the background one can easily see the Bruno U-boat pen.
Aveiga, would love to hear more about the origin of the photograph.
