I don't know why, but I think the very best scene is when they come across Thomsen in the stormy mid-Atlantic. "It's Thomsen!!" Although the captain's furious over their lack of progress, as well as the near-collision, there's a great sense of comaraderie here.

I also agree - the engine room scenes are stunning.</HTML>
