Meg & Jay. Thank you for your revie and constructive comments on the DVD version.
I recently recorded the series from BBC2 in its remastered form.I judged the movie to have been well improved on what I had seen in the mid-80's.
Certainly will buy it on DVD , a surround system might be a good buy as well by the sounds of things.
The Sunday School English version sounds really great !
I can just imagine Thomson on the stage in the
"Nightclub" . perhaps something like " Uncle Arthur" from
"Dad's Army"
" Would you all mind awfully being quiet I have a few words I would like to say now gather round now , how clumsy , I spilt my drink".
Sounds great !
