  01:24 - Introduced a new front page. Hope you like this one better, it has much more material to ease your navigation and presumably a better layout/looks.

  01:24 - Added a major photoset to the Gallery. This is a 27-photo set from the Bavarian Studios in Munich, Germany, the studio that made the famous Das Boot movie.

  Added 2 new convoy battle pages, SC-107 and HG-76.

  Added 2 new articles on German U-boat men in POW camps, namely on transportation to the US and the journey to the US camps.

  17:27 - I solved some problems I had with uploading files to the server that I had been struggling with for the last 6 days or so.

  Added the story of the Sinking of SS Athenia on 3 Sept, 1939. She was the first ship to be sunk in the war and also a passenger liner, sparking a controversy.

  Put a nice 5X DVD CD-ROM into Lorient (my PC) tonight. After some tweaking the thing almost works even, heh :) Next we'll see how nicely the revised edition of Das Boot playes on the DVD.

  17:27 - Added a note that Mr. Hans Goebeler of U-505 fame has passed away.

  Added an amazing item to the U-boat Games page. This is a "board" game published in 1940 called Der kleine U-Boot-Kommandant and it simply must be the first U-boat game created. Do I need to mention that it's German? :)

  Updated the pages on convoy battles TM-1 and ON-153.

  Been fiddling with the Unix server and its log files and means to handle them better, that is solved now I think.
