Hi Greg,
Yes.....I want to do this kit up 'right'!
But my current project is to complete my r/c 1/32nd scale Type VIIB (using a 32nd Parallel hull and the Accurate Armour conning tower). Right now I am in the last stages of drilling and filing out all those damn casing slots! ;-)
If you are interested in r/c subs, there are two folks in the Atlanta area that also are into r/c subs. One of them participates in this forum: Jerry Pope. The other is Matt Spade (mspade@bellsouth.net)
All three of us belong to The SubCommittee, which is an organization interested in all sorts of submarine-related subjects. By far the biggest interest is in r/c subs! You may wish to check out the website www.subcommittee.com...... Members also receive the quarterly magazine "The SubCommittee Report" which has a lot of very good information on building r/c subs.
