Hi Greg:
I'll be glad to help. The "SubCommDeepSouth" sails every 3rd Saturday of each month at "Brisco Park" in Snellville, Georgia 11:00am. to 3:00pm. But, instead of this upcoming weekend, They had it last weekend, SORRY. I live 182 miles South of Snellville, GA. so I don't get up there very often. I'm still building my radio controlled DK Models 1/48th scale Type-VIIC, so I spend most of my weekends in the shop. Another member of The Subcommittee and SubCommDeepSouth has a great website: [www.marinerc.f2s.com] you can go there and look under SEBM Club "Submarine Division" and see where we sail. This is also a great website for Robbe U-47 builders as well as all other types of submarines and targets (surface vessels). Let me know where you live by emailing me and I can couple you up with some good people that are also modelers. Sailing radio controlled model submarines is just like flying model aircraft, except we do it underwater and we don't crash as much. You can bring your model back home to put on your mantelpiece every week. Join “THE SUBCOMMITTEE†it is the best $26.00 that you will ever spend.
Good Luck and Good Hunting,
Jerry Pope
